Business Studies in Ukraine
Ukraine's higher education has a rich history, and many people are drawn to the country to study because of this. In fact, it has emerged from the communist regime with a fine educational program that uses both academic and practical study to help create a well-rounded education.
The academic programming in the Ukraine is divided into four levels. The Junior Specialist, which takes two to three years to complete, is similar to a high school or secondary school degree. The Bachelor degree is considered the first level of basic higher education and takes four years to complete. This is followed by the Bachelor Specialist, which takes an additional year and takes the student deeper into a specialty area in the chosen subject area, such as business. The Masters Degree is the final level and takes students even further into their business studies. The length of study will depend on the chosen field, but students will usually spend two years in their Masters training.
The Ukraine academic year starts in September and runs through June. It has two semesters, with the fall semester ending in December followed by exams in January. Spring semester ends in early June with exams at the end of June. Summer sessions are uncommon in the Ukraine.
Tuition fees in the Ukraine vary depending on the university a student chooses. State universities have lower fees than private universities, but students should plan to pay between $1,750 to $4,200 per year in U.S. dollars for your education. Students will also pay $450 for admission into a master's level program in the Ukraine. The universities in Ukraine charge by the year, not the credit hour.
After graduating with a business degree from a Ukrainian university, students will be prepared for a variety of jobs in business throughout Europe. The quality education from these schools is well accepted throughout the modern world.
