The Strathclyde MBA in Switzerland

Since 1996, the University of Strathclyde has been offering the Strathclyde MBA as an Executive MBA at its Study Centre in Switzerland.

Triple accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, our internationally recognized MBA programme stands for further education in business at the highest level. With our focus on strategic corporate management, we have consistently ranked among the top 10 MBAs worldwide in the area of corporate strategy over the last few years.

The EMBA, which is flexibly designed as a part-time programme over 2 years, can be attended entirely in Zurich or parts of the programme can be completed at our 7 other study centres in Asia, the Gulf region, and Europe, and on the main campus in Glasgow. Just as your personal schedule allows.

EQUIS Accreditation

EQUIS is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. It is the newest of the big 3 accrediting bodies and has the smallest membership. It was formed to address the European problem of diverse national accreditation systems but is gaining ground outside Europe.

AMBA Accreditation

Originating in the UK, the Association of MBAs is the only one of the three main bodies to accredit MBA courses rather than the host institutions.

AACSB Accreditation

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is the USA's best-known accreditation body. Despite a very American membership (few business schools outside the USA have this award), it remains the kitemark for any business school with world-class ambitions. Only 5 schools that operate in Switzerland are accredited, IMD, Univ. of St. Gallen, Univ. of Zurich and Strathclyde Business School.
