Introduction
MIM-Kyiv Business School in partnership with the Center for Medical Law announces recruitment for the specialized MBA program Modern Management in Healthcare.
This is a unique opportunity for employees of various healthcare institutions both to master the entire range of universal managerial competencies within one curriculum, and to improve and systematize the specific knowledge and skills required in the management of the medical field.
The program will be taught by leading professors of MIM-Kyiv - experts in the field of finance, management, marketing, commercial law, etc., as well as authoritative specialists in the field of healthcare. Like the traditional MBA program, the program "Modern Management in Healthcare" will end with an internship abroad, which will allow students to get acquainted with the world practice of organizing the healthcare system and medical business.
The MBA program Modern Management in Healthcare is designed for:
heads of medical institutions and their deputies;
chief physicians, heads of departments, heads of other units of both budgetary and private medical institutions;
heads of public administration bodies in the field of health care;
owners of medical institutions.
The program contains the following key blocks:
1. Legal regulation of economic activities in the healthcare sector, in particular:
legal regulation of relations "patient - healthcare institution";
legal status of the head of the healthcare institution;
labor law;
commercial, economic law (obligatory relations, execution of contracts, responsibility of the parties, etc.).
2. Financial aspects of the activities of health care institutions, in particular:
assessment and analysis of the financial condition of health care institutions;
evaluation of investment efficiency;
sources of financing for business development;
establishment of health care in the tax system of the country;
accounting and financial audit;
Management Accounting.
3. Medical business management, in particular:
management, including project management;
marketing and pricing in the medical services market;
personnel policy in healthcare institutions;
psychology of management.
4. The practice of healthcare organization, in particular:
models of organization of the health care system;
international practice of organization of health care systems;
medical insurance, including professional liability insurance for medical workers.
5. English.
6. Foreign internship, which is a mandatory component of the program.
Program format: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 9-00 to 18-00 once a month
