Introduction

I. Programme objective

Based on the featured disciplines - Economics, Management and Law, the International MBA Program at ZUEL is designed to prepare responsible professionals with international vision and profound understanding of the business environment in China, and with expertise in not only managerial skills but also legal issues in modern business.

II. Programme information

Credits requirements. The international MBA students shall pass course examinations and attain the necessary credits. A minimum of 32 credits are required to begin thesis writing, and the students shall not apply for MBA degrees until they successfully defend their theses.

Programme Pedagogy. Case study, group discussion and seminars are introduced in teaching with a focus on cultivating students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Guest speakers, as well as established faculty members, will be invited to deliver lectures.

Assessment. A comprehensive assessment mechanism is adopted. The assessment is carried out in structural grading system with a specific proportion of final exam and other tasks (including attendances, presentations, case analysis and assignments). The detailed proportions are determined by relevant professors.

Graduation and Degree Conferring

  1. MBA students will be awarded the ZUEL master’s diploma and conferred the MBA degree after they have passed the examinations, attained the necessary credits and successfully defended their theses.
  2. Requirements for the thesis:

a) Both Chinese and English abstracts are required;

b) The main body of the thesis could be written either in Chinese or English (a minimum of 30,000 English words or 20,000 Chinese words required);

c) When the thesis is written in English, a copy of Chinese translations shall be submitted in the meantime.

III. Admission Criteria

  • A minimum of three years of work experience
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 24 years old or above
  • Competent GMAT or GRE or IELTS score
